2009 Pueblo FCA Banquet featuring Karl Mecklenburg

On March 10th 2009, Pueblo Fellowship of Christian Athlestes held their 24th Annual Banquet. Fifty-one FCA Huddle Leaders of Pueblo were honored along with 2007 Class 4 A State Champion Head Football Coach Monte Pinerton of Pueblo West High School. Centennial High School FCA Prasie Band “Solidify” performed for a crowd of almost four hundred. Coach Monte Pinkerton received the PUEBLO FCA MAN OF THE year and delivered a moving acceptance speech that will long be remembered. CSU-Pueblo college track athlete Lizzie Lewis’ testimony of her life’s struggles and the saving grace of Jesus was the highlight of an incredible evening. The night concluded with former all pro Denver Bronco Karl Mecklenburg reminding all of us that being a follower of Jesus is all about developing a deep relationship with Him and all those around us.
